5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LexGyan and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Case Law and Legal Documents

Case law and legal documents available through LexGyan are generally in the public domain. However, our organization, indexing, summaries, and analysis of such materials are proprietary.

5.3 User Content

You retain ownership of any research notes, annotations, or content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your queries to provide the Service.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

6.3 Refunds

We offer refunds within 7 days of initial subscription if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Annual subscriptions may receive prorated refunds at our discretion.

6.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored until renewal.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexGyan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
